Yes, using the app for your provider, you should be authorized for the same package of channels you signed up for with your service provider.

will Xumo work with a 2003 Samsung TV?

2003 was a transition year for TV so your TV may or may not have HDMI inputs. HDMI inputs were just coming out, so if your TV has no HDMI input,
which the XUMO box requires, then no, XUMO would not work. However if the TV does have HDMI, then XUMO would work.

Do old Bluetooth versions on older smartphones work with newer Bluetooth versions on a laptop?
columbiaisa said…
Yes, Bluetooth is designed to be backwards compatible so a newer version will work with an older version. You will be limited to the older version's capabilities but you should be able to send and receive files or cast music. Download the Bluetooth audio receiver app from the Microsoft store to cast music to the Windows laptop.

I want to play music files from my laptop to my LG TV speakers. I do not have internet. Is this possible?

Yes, you can use Windows 11's Miracast to connect to a TV without an internet connection by using a Wi-Fi Direct connection between your PC and the TV.
Ensure both devices support Miracast, then use the Windows key + K shortcut on your PC to open the Cast menu and select your TV to start mirroring.
You see your PC screen on the TV but also can cast music to the TV speakers from music files on the PC using Windows Media Player. Adjust volume.
Be sure to check all options on the PC if no sound on the TV. Set default audio.

columbiaisa said…
Yes, if the TV app has surround sound capability and the selected content has surround sound available and you have a connected surround sound processor (AVR) receiver with attached loudspeakers (5.1). Connect optical or HDMI cable from TV to AV receiver. Select correct source on AVR and set TV sound output to optical or HDMI.
